What is the minimum age for flying drones?
When you want to follow our courses these are the minimum ages ( at the start):
- Workshop: 16 years
- Private RPAS certificate: 16 years
- Commercial RPAS certificate: 18 years
Do I need a drivers licence?
No, you do not need a drivers' licence.
Note that the practical site where we do the drone flying is outside of Windhoek. You will need to be able to come to all training facilities on your own.
When do I have to pay?
Before the beginning of each training, the payment should be done in full. When the payment is not made, you cannot follow the training.
When you come for the final skills test, a proof of payment has to be given to the evaluator before performing the test.
Do I have to have perfect eyesight?
No, you do not need perfect sight. When your sight is corrected with a pair of glasses, you can follow our classes.
Note that the practical site where we do the drone flying is outside of Windhoek. You will need to be able to come to all training facilities on your own.
Do I have to follow all modules?
Each training or workshop is developed to prepare the student to perform a safe drone flight. One cannot skip a module and has to be follow all classes that comes with the training or workshop.
Exemptions of modules can be given to people with an aviation licence. Ask us for more details.

Do I need other certifcates?
When you follow the commercial RPAS certificate training, you will need to have following certificates to do the final skills test:- Radio & Telephony certificate ( valid)
- English Proficiency test ( valid)
What do I have to bring along?
On the first of the training we will ask for your id or passport to fill in all paperwork. We will provide all training material.
During the practical part, we ask you to bring a hat, sunscreen and enough water to drink.
